I hate when I see or hear people talking about hoover crips and/or gangsta crips as if, it is apart or simiular to Larry Hoover and the GDN. If you don't know what your talking about, just don't say nothing at all.

Crips and Bloods that rock that Folk/People shit really konfuse me. It's a whole 'nother thang. It's no bridge to nothing but being fake ass nigga. I aint saying these kats aint hard or real gangstas, just sayin they mixing shit up real bad. crip/Blood shit aint a dress code, it's a west coast thang. It's got ideals, rules and history. Too many people seem to just associate their gang with a ckertain color and think that makes their set automatically a Blood or crip set.

Is it not good enough being a Vice Lord or GD or something?

So basically the star is not characteristic of real west coast crips?

What is a star normally used for then?

And what is the significance of the number 83 in the corner?

2 different Nations, The Peoples Bang the 5^ While The Folk Nation Bangs the 6^, Different sets branch in with these 2 nations, for instance, BGD Are With Folk, And Vice Lords are with Peoples.

Pretty simple, nothing hard to understand about it,

Look, I could tell right off the bat, and so could yungwun, those are ALL wannabe graffittis.

They tag off-brand.

Why? They have stars and misclaim gangs.

The 83 just shows they are some wannabe 8-3 (Eight Tray) Gangsta Crips. THEY ARE NOT real 8-3s, whoever did the tags, why claim "Eastside Rollin 30's" right next to it?

And Rollin 30's is Westside.

You know what 83 means when they right it? I means

Hello, I am a wannabe Crip, and tried to look official by going to google.com, typing "Crips", and got links to East Coast police websites and sites (like streetgangs.com) so I could take random names and stuff from those places and tag like an idiot caliming 3 gangs at the same time. I need a life.

Where is this? No offense to east coast people, but from what I saw in NY, these kids are probably east coast, since they are the most common ones to mix up Folk Nation with Crips.

The star is from Folk Nation in Chicago, NOTHING to do with crips.

We occasionally use the 3 Point Crown just because it disses the People Nation (aligned with Blood) and all gangs vs. Bloods, VLs, Kings, etc. use the 3 Point as a diss to the 5 point. Usually a five point is drawn with the 2 points behind the front 3 Xd out. And no, when someone asks where my set is from I reply 'Westside Rollin 60 NHC' and if they wanna know more bout where my sets hood is I hit em' up with Westside Rollin' 60 Hyde Park, 60 + 63rd St. Dime Blocc South-Central NHC. No disrespect but dont judge sum shyt u don't know about. Holla.
