Milwaukee is one of those families that is very hard to read. There are charts of the family on different forums but no additional information. I've read in one place that the family had less than 15 members about a decade ago. The last major mob case in the city was like back in the 1980's. There are still members there, and they may still be doing business, but it's nothing significant.

No. Whatever is remaining of the Milwaukee organization is still independent, i.e. it's not an extension of the Outfit similar to the way other cities in the past were (Springfield, Rochester, etc.) However, that's not to say there isn't the possibility that the Outfit is active there to some degree.

Didn't talk of or construction of a House O f Blues get cancelled because the Ballistieri lawyer sons have a hidden interest in the Rave/auditorium? They must still have a large presence if they can stop that.

Well, them winning a dispute before the city council doesn't necessarily mean the family still has a large presence there. The Ballistrieris are still there, as are other made members. But there were supposedly less than 15 left a decade ago. The last major mob case in the city was in the 1980's. The Milwaukee LCN isn't extinct yet but there really isn't much left.

But to defeat something so corporate like the House Of Blues and the people behind it shows they got some pull.
