The Sopranos on HBO

I usually don't watch shows that are in the drama category but this shit is addictive. I got hooked in the second season and ain't missed an episode. Acting, storyline, etc. is top notch shit. The only other show that I watched that was drama based was New York Undercover but even that doesn't even come close to The Sopranos. Any other fans of this show?

no, but i'm sure sometime in the near-future. i know they are definatley coming back with one, but i don't know when. possibly when HBO puts on all it's new shows in the next season or two.

It's filming now, and won't likely air until January or March of 2006. That's all I could get. HBO keeps that show locked down. Nobody knows sh*t, except the cast and crew.

It might even be later in Canada, depending on your cable/satellite provider.

Plus, the info I got is from other newgroups; And the answer I posted here was the most popular answer to that question. It may not be accurate, but I'm sure it's pretty close. The official website at HBO.com has nothing. They protect this show like it's gold.

Well the sopranos is a tv show on HBO. Home Box Office.
It is basically a tv show about the Mafia and the families name is the Sopranos

They are based in New Jersey.
Everybody goes home to watch it and now that it's out everybody has suddenly become a mob expert.
The lead character is a racist who sees a pshychologist because he's killed so many people and it's fukken with his head.

And the best part is, they do it sparingly and artistically. Most of the sex scenes on the Sopranos are more disturbing than they are turn-ons. (Janice and Richie Aprile on the couch...)

That's what's great about the show, the sex is real. And the reality is, most REAL sex, in the real world, with real people, doesn't do much for the television viewer that's used to seeing good looking porn actresses getting down in every acrobatic position possible. Usually it's two overweight people just making love, and not exactly something we'd watch with the homies while drinking brew.

So, that's what I like about the sex on the HBO shows. They keep it real, really real, so real it's kinda gross. And, if I want to see the good looking women having sex, Cinemax is the next channel over!

You'd better catch up to speed, Blakk. It's probably the best t.v. drama series ever. Keeping it real is an understatement for the Sopranos. It's so real it's hard to watch at times.

The first two seasons are the best, and you can rent them anywhere. After that, the storylines kind of repeat themselves, allthough the episodes are still good.

It's not just the mob stuff that makes it good, it's the acting, the writing, the lighting, everything. It has a darkness to it; And it also stays interesting and dramatic. You'll never stop watching it once you start. Just rent the first season and you'll know what I'm talking about.
