That is a picture of Packard Court. It is located in the middle of the city. It is a low-income housing projects. The only reason that the grass is cut is because the city goes in and cuts it.

It's population is half black, half trailor trash. Apartments get shot up but nobody gets hurt. It's always in the newspaper for something and it's never good.

Nah i was just teasing. I mean it isnt how neighbourhood looks that determines how tough or how bad it is. I mean my personal opinion of the jungle on 'Training Day' was physically it looked a nice area, but you knew from the faces we saw there that it was rough.

And the neighbourhood on 'Friday' looked nice too even though it was in the 'hood'. So it isnt really about how it looks when determining how bad it actually is or is percieved to be.

I dont really know because while that area is deprived and has a lot of crime it is also a very close-knit community. People all know each other, you walk through that project and you will be spotted a mile off if your a stranger cos its a close neighbourhood. They dont like strangers.

I dont know if youve ever heard of an English drug dealer called Curtis Warren but one of the men he worked with, Brian Charrington, was from this project. He is worth £25 million whereas Warren was worth £185 million or $370 million.

Here in the falls the majority of our apartments are one big house with two separate apartments within it.

In bigger cities when they have huge buildings I believe they call those tenements but I'm not sure.

Now I'll explain. The doors with the red circles are the main doors. When you open it up and walk inside there is typically a starway to the right that leads to the upper apartment (shown by the white drawing), and a door immediatly to the left that opens up to the lower apartment.

In these particular houses the upper upper apartment has a patio and a door that leads to it. (The yellow circle) People can barbeque and watch TV, and listen to the radio and stuff up there.
