hey funky i like that crime lab comparison thing you posted...
im just wondering about the score my city would score...
here are the statistics for the city of stuttgart,germany 2004 (per 100.000):

homicides: 8
rape: 25
robbery: 117
aggravated assaults: 966
motor vehicle thefts: 184

It has all the American cities. But go figure out of all the cities that it doesn't have Niagara Falls is the one.

Tell me how big your city is and I might be able to figure something out.

Dr Funky what you givin me some websites for ? the brit boy nw10 can get killed in frisco, he can get killed in denver, and he can get killed in compton...stats dont give you the whole picture and i'm tired of cats talkin about stats...that forum used to be much realer back in the day

True. Anywhere you go you can find some crazy asshole just waiting to pull the trigger.

It's just that the rate of occurance is much higher in Compton than in Denver. People have to deal with the BS more.

But you still have a good point anywhere you go shit can happen.

Hmmmm. I never did like math. :lol:

It looks as if Stuttgart is about equal to Germany's national crime rate. Which sounds very nice.

However I'm not from Stuttgart so I don't actually know how it is there.

in the part of stuttgart that i live in there were 2 murders last year.
that in a community of ca. 10.000.
so that would be 20 homicides per 100.000.

i know that my part of town was the one with the highest crime rate in stuttgart but 20 per 100.000...
thats strange! i never thought of that...
overall stuttgart is very safe. its just the northeast that has a high crime rate.
especially my community...

True. People get shot by getting into beef over here, i have heard 12 and 13 year old kids argueing and swearing at each other and talk about getting killed or getting someone shot if they act gay or if someone touches them, that they will be dead in that second, i belive them, i know it, i have seen it happen, they have relatives in gangs and they are just waiting for someone to get into a fight with them so they could take out their gun and blast those fools. There was a shooting recently and a 12 year old got killed here, it was on the news, i think it was like a month ago, but you see, these muthafokkas over here don't hesetate to shoot, what can the police do to them? If they don't go somewhere else in the next 2 or 3 years, they would get their asses aressted, it takes the police 2-3 years minimum to find a suspect on the run, by then, that suspect can kill at least 10 people and then be prounounced as a serial killer, then the suspect could move out of the country before the local police could find him/her, don't think i am giving anyone ideas, thats how it is.

Trust me, the police here is fuccin lazy as hell. They are dumb and they aren't good for shit, the only thing they are good at is giving tickets to people that are going the same speed(120 km per hour) on the highway and being mean to a white lady, a black cop, saying shut up when she is asking something. Thats what they are only good for, giving people tickets for no reason.

Cops over here arrive over 2 hours later there was a call, the person could be dead by then if something bad happens. There was this very ooooold lady in my building that started loseing her mind and started to be crazy and shit then when the ambulance came she didn't want to go to the hospital because she didn't trust them so they called the police to help her out and half an hour passed and the police didn't come, and they are right beside my building on the other side of the road, then they(the ambulance people) took her anyways, i held the door when they took her out on the strecher.

If you truly beleive that your local police are letting your city turn into a warzone then why don't you rally?

Maybe write a letter to your newspaper, or get some help with a news agency.

People rally here all the time about police behavior. (Especially in Buffalo)

However it also depends on what year the stats were done in. This year, almost everyday Buffalo has seen a shooting or a stabbing.

Those building were fucced, there was shit hanging from the balcony's like dead bodies and shit and it was all scretched and the paint was warn off the buildings were all dirty and shit, man, i should have taken some pics of those guys smokin weed on their balcony of 1021, right beside the police station.

You are thinking about the Canadian side. The entertainment district is called Clifton Hill.

Niagara Falls, Ontario has 2 casinos.

We have 1

Niagara Falls has little to 0 crime.

We have quite a bit.

The American side and the Canadian side are 2 completely different worlds.
