Letter from my guy from prison

There are many that believe California's Prison Rehabilitation System and other systems around the world have more sinister purpose outside of incarceration. Discuss prison topics here in California, throughout the United States and Internationally.

Letter from my guy from prison

Postby Christina Marie » October 5th, 2005, 6:23 pm

Well beautiful,
Its Sept 30th, and let me tell you how this day went..right now its 10:45 pm, im finally back on my rack, Ive spent the last seven and a half hours on "D" yard. Let me start from the beginning. I woke up this morning in a bad mood because my dog left for CCF and the "keys" went to a real "f**k up" and I'll explain more on that later. Well I started the day by making a cup of Folgers and walking laps around the day room and enjoying my coffee and cookies (sugar) my favorite, when I got done with that I get back to my rack and start to get ready for a shower and "bam", everyone down. The goon squad comes running and here we have a surprise search of the building and "us" the inmates on both A and B sides of the building C-2 on C yard and they have us strip down one at a time and walk us out to the yard and split us into 2 groups, a side and b side. Well not long after that we start to line up for the bathroom and its not long before someone feels disrespected and guess what? Its the "f**k up". After they squash it 3 times he feels that it doesnt satisfy what he wants and we get together with the Southside and we start grouping and getting closer and closer and finally someone says f**k it and its on in a 3 min riot and f**k! Im right in the middle of it, I'll leave out the other details and just say I'm ok, I'm still here and today is Friday and I was'nt on the transport list. Ive seen 5-600 hundred men come through here. I may be getting another 115 for participating in a riot, but we'll see. My hand is ok though and besides being sunburned, I'm ok. I wanted to write you before you got news of this from other places. Ok, I miss you and yes the money should be on its way, it was ok'd, let me know and heres the score now.

I love you,

I am so frigging frustrated with the state right now I cant hardly see straight. They are packing these guys in. He is at NKSP RC and has been for 7 months. The yard he is in is meant to house 400 and is housing 1200. What the h*ll do they expect to happen? And whats a man supposed to do when it jumps off and punches are getting thrown, sit down and cry "I want my mommy?". You got no choice but to throw back or get beat down AND look like a punk. So far he has got 90 days added and I want them back. I am going to get them back. Been talking to the lead ombudsman and hopefully he will give me what I want,. I soooooo don't wait well. I hate waiting. Yes hate. Does anyone know what he means by "books?" that one escapes me. Oh, and then they strip these guys down to their chonis and make em go stand in 100+ degree weather for hours on end, not the first time this has happened. Last time several inmates got heatstroke and burns on their feet and had to go to the hospital. I had already heard about this happening and had a bad feeling. And Sept 30th was my birthday. I know I am whining, thanks foe listening. I do feel somewhat better now though.

Thank you! LMAO! I never would have thought of that! Here I was thinking it was some kind of rule or regulation shorthand. I can't believe he is actually reading books. Thank you so much, I was still sitting here pondering "books". You have made my night. :)

He is at NKSP in RC. Has been for almost 8 months. They are supposed to transfer him to Avenal, but its worse than NKSP. I am trying to get him transferred to KVSP, its the newest prison to open in CA and its only at half capacity all others are at double or more.
