HIP HOP CULTURE WHITE KIDS BLACK THOUGHTS AND MOVEMENTS????

Postby oXJmAuPs2005Xo » February 17th, 2006, 4:19 pm

To who this post may ever concern mostly targeted at racist white people who understand nothing about culture. My name is Justin im from Cincinnati Ohio and that being said their is a large population of black people for such a small city and the reigning culture of the city is HIPHOP.
the reason why I made this post is because I wanted to make a statement to people about how much i appreciate black people for giving me something white people just didnt have nor ever will. Alot of white kids like hiphop but dont part-take in the culture (emc's,bboys,dj's,graffitti)
in the game I claim title of bboy. Anyways I have met my share of rednecks but really dont care to talk about them, even though im not black and understand i never will be I guess you could say that im into the movement from influence of going to a black school not all black people agree with what i do but for the people that are cool with it like book author Bakari Kitwana we can engage i the culture just not at the expense of black youth i know i dont live in a place like compton where i have 2 worry about gettig shot walkin down the street but i dont live in the greatest place in the world to me the streets are the streets it dont matter whos hood is harder then the others everybody knows we all get down i think everybody should just get along and its easy to say that typing on a keyboard but the problem is nobody wants to put the effort in black, white, hispanic, native american, asian, etc. into making mine and your neighborhoods a better place i have heared the term to fight for your right to be street but givin that im white and mainstream culture portrays me as a wigga already i dont thing i want to engage on wankstaism what ever happened with black people and black thoughts of people like martin luther king the streetz are changing but its not fast enough. I would take the side of a young black person anyday over some white racist redneck because they belong to the same culture if thats not bein down enough without bein a gangsta i dont know what is. The power hiphop has over any youth of any race is crazy because it rebellious its what gave me back life when i didnt have any and for that i would die for it.Thankyou people of african american descent for creating something i like much love to all of you.And for any white kid too deny that rock and roll doesnt have any black roots you are a fool.

For all the wigger and the wiggaz. It is kool that you take part in the Hip Hop culture that is all good. You are just expected to play by the rules that are somewhat un-written. That rule is no other nationality can say that certain word. We all know what that word is. Do I really have to say it? It is something you are expected for you to already know that the N word should never come out your mouth rather it is said with a ER or A at the end. It is a respect thing and has history behind it. I wish more of our rapper were more about the inpowerment of people and less about themselves and the money they make. We influence people more than what we know threw song and the words we speak. They have the power to do all these things and they rather use it to diss another artist. It use to be N.W.A., Public Enemy, 2Pac, Nas. Nas can't even get that much air play. It is sad really. They made light of real issues and did not look at the color of your skin. The MIC has been passed to Kanye West.

The conscious movement of the late 80's got squashed. We had PE, XClan,
The Tribe, Rakim dropping mad science. Today we have brothers like Nas,
Dead Prez, Common, Dilated Peoples, The Roots, Blackalicious puttin' it down but like PeronGregory said, gets no airplay!

Far as whites' being down with hiphop? Whatever, and what else is new? They got down with the blues, jazz, rock&roll, soul, rb, house, and such.
Probably need to chill with using the N word but it's tough to tell them to stop as long as so many of us use the word with impunity..

thats real talk you got a good point anurwarizra its not right for anyone to use the N word i still think its stupid though that black people use it as a brotherly term or whatever they condisder it and another thing i know mass black people i cant even remember how many times somebody black called me a n to the i to the double g to the a. i dont know what it was meant for but its isnt my place to say it back thats understandable.
