It's easy for you to laugh at me when I didn't see any gang members and have no idea how they are behaving.

anyway, if your ridin through any hood, anywhere, show respect. you would want respect in your own hood.

I have no idea how to show respect. I think respect isn't a thing that you can show somehow.

You got your wires mixed up there man. I said why do people have so many negative perceptions on gang neighbourhoods and why do outisders not understand that people in gang neighbourhoods are no different to other people in general. Alot of people have a fascination with the "ghetto" and believe shootings and drivebys and murders are part of everyones life who lives there and anyone who goes there will fall to this - however, that is not true.

Ghost replied to my statement "A Real G" and posted the picture of the stereotypical and spoof G from the film "Dont Be A Menace to South Central Whilst Drinking Your Juice in the Hood".

I then added some of the lines used in the film by that character because i always remembered it as a funny take on life in the hood, not because i was stereotyping or disrespecting or agreeing it was really like that. Also partly because for people who have never experienced such places in real life have these perceptions - that is why someone has started the thread obviously.

But like i said my original response to the topic was why do people have these negative perceptions tht they will get killed or shot if they visit these areas???

Honestly some are just crazy, some are real racial, but there's a few groups that if you catch them in a good mood everyone's really freindly

Of course since I'm Asian most of them get on me "pinch chino" talk

But in places where it's not as racial or at least they don't ever run into Asians then some have been known to be cool, and actually more friendly than most "regular people" you run into in America.
I thought you were black?

You act like being black is an exclusive club. Since you're already NOI you should look into 5%, they suit your ideas much better.

its good when your younger but as you get older the novelty wears off. i was 13 when i first saw that film and it was hilarious. i saw it again over christmas last year and it just wasnt the same.

it has scenes made fun of mostly from BoyzntheHood, MenaceIISociety but it also has bits copied from HigherLearning, DeadPresidents and a MCHammer music video.

Its by the Wayans bros who did alot of spoof/comedy films like ScaryMovie 1+2, Bulletproof, Mo Money, JuwannaMan, Low Down Dirty Shame, White Chicks.....allsorts of things
