Iran's president says move Israel

Iran's president has already called for Israel to be wiped off the map
Iran's conservative president has said that Israel should be moved to Europe.

"If European countries claim that they have killed Jews in World War II... why don't they provide the Zionist regime with a piece of Europe," Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Iranian television.

"Germany and Austria can provide the... regime with two or three provinces for this regime to establish itself, and the issue will be resolved."

The president's remarks were quickly condemned by Israel and the US.

"This is not the first time, unfortunately, that the Iranian president has expressed the most outrageous ideas concerning Jews and Israel," Israeli foreign ministry spokesman Mark Regev said.

"He is not just Israel's problem. He is a worry for the entire international community," he added.

'Outrageous'

Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, quoted by AFP agency, described the remarks as "an outrageous gaffe, which I want to repudiate in the sharpest manner".

White House spokesman Scott McClellan said the Iranian leader's comments "further underscore our concerns about the regime".

"And it's all the more reason why it's so important that the regime not have the ability to develop nuclear weapons," he said.

UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said: "I condemn [the comments] unreservedly. They have no place in civilised political debate."

Mr Ahmadinejad's stance was also condemned by French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who were meeting in Berlin.

Nuclear row

In October, Mr Ahmadinejad caused an outcry by calling for Israel to "be wiped off the map".

His latest comments come as Iran is mired in controversy over its nuclear programme, which it says is solely for the provision of fuel, but which the US says is aimed at producing nuclear weapons.

An International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report in September said questions about Iran's nuclear programme remained unanswered despite an intensive investigation.

Move Isreal? interesting... but not likely. Just like in the Balkans, this is essentially tribal warfare left over from biblical times. The only way to trully end this is let them duke it out... In which case Isreal would completely wipe their enemies off the map. But that too much.

I cant help but feel that Isreal's timimng in this action is suspect at best. Could it be that Isreal, thinking that the US is going to pull out of Iraq soon, started this up so that we can just go ahead and send some of our troops and logistical support to their area so we can help them out.
With GW in charge this is most likely a possibility. I have no doubt that Condelleeza is on her way over there right now to work out the timetable for our arrival.

Its britains fault for all this anyway, they jus took land from the arabs and gave it to the jews, of course theres gon be tension between the countries that lost their land to form a new country, especially wen that new country has wanted to expand and taken more land from them forcefully.

Britain took the land from the Arabs and gave it back to who it belonged to in the first place. The Jews.

com'on man. quit telling fables. america needs to be given to me and my family because god told me in my dreams last night? if we draw the map of the world out according to biblical and ancient past the map will never end. the truth is before the creation of israel it was populated mainly by palestinians. israel has violated so many UN resolutions its sickening! the media is pro israel and ya'll keep gettin fooled. the president of iran said it so right. if the holocaust really happened then why is it that the arabs have to pay the price when it was the europeans that did it? why doesnt germany give them a piece of their land? imagine for a second that you are living at home in your own house and 10 blocks away some guys you dont know gets beat up and kicked out of his house by his wife for cheating and the police gives him half of your house to live in and he keeps on wanting more until he owns your whole house and you're out of it...thats a lil idea...

Cluster Munitions and International Humanitarian Law
The Need for Better Compliance and Stronger Rules
The States Parties to the Convention on Conventional Weapons (CCW) have long recognized the dangers of cluster munitions. They first questioned the civilian harm these weapons cause at the Lucerne Conference in 1974 that eventually led to the CCW. Over the past several years, the Group of Governmental Experts has addressed cluster munitions as part of the ongoing discussions on explosive remnants of war (ERW). For 2004, the ERW working group has a mandate “to continue to consider the implementation of existing principles of international humanitarian law” (IHL)

CHEMICAL WEAPONS PROTOCOL III: Incendiary Weapons
Protocol III on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Incendiary Weapons prohibits, in all circumstances, making the civilian population as such, individual civilians or civilian objects, the object of attack by any weapon or munition which is primarily designed to set fire to objects or to cause burn injury to persons through the action of flame, heat or a combination thereof, produced by a chemical reaction of a substance delivered on the target.

Iran's president has already called for Israel to be wiped off the map

why is the whole world on the iranian president over one qoute? when similar words have been spoken by isreal.

"The Palestinians" would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls." " Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

"When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle." Raphael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defence Forces, New York Times, 14 April 1983.

David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

"We'll make a pastrami sandwich of them, ... we'll insert a strip of Jewish settlements in between the Palestinians, and then another strip of Jewish settlements right across the West Bank, so that in 25 years' time, neither the United Nations nor the United States, nobody, will be able to tear it apart."
(Ariel (Arik) Sharon, 1973)

this is just a few qoutes. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/palestinians.html
