For example we had a double shooting which left one dead and another in crtical condition and a triple stabbing within the past two days and only 1 news source picked it up, those stories will be gone by 2 pm gauranteed.

But you have 1 guy escape from jail and shoot 3 cops now all of a sudden it's all they talk about?

the news is looking for some glamourus horror, there is so much terror in the streets that a simple shooting isn't enough, now its 2 bodies found in a van parked in a south side alley way,... they need crazy shit like this to catch the fantasy of american minds, its almost cooler to see terrible things on the news than it is to see fake stuff in movies.
