But add in the diebetes factor, high blood pressure factor, and then you have to do the calculations again. I mean, a lot of Pacific Islanders diets have changed over the last half century or so. The other Asian nations are catching up too. Vietnam for instance also has a relatively high diabetes rate in certain regions. People consume a lot of sugar through fruit drinks/nectors/natural fruits, desserts, sweets, etc etc. Moderation is not a consideration.
