Ive met black fominicans who dont put themselves down as black, there are plenty of them that will be quick to say they arent god knows why,

homie Im peicein together what you sayin. now you said the country aint black but I didn't say it was black. Before I said there is a mixture of people there, and a lot of mixed people there. You said yall are latino, which is true, but then so what is the different races? Latino is not a race, its a culture. Thats what im sayin. There are Black Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Brazilians etc. Just because you are Hispanic don't mean you're not Black. Some got dropped off in the States, most got dropped off in Latin Countries but we all came from the same place. You mixed with some of the people from your Island, we mixed with some of the people from our land. Some Blacks speak broken english, some speak spanish and some speak with an English accent. Almost all of us are descendents from the same area of Africa.

And it's not an opinion it's a fact and it's sad that people either don't know it or disavow their own heritage.

Well the southern halp of America along with much of the west was "Mexican".... but then the Natives that called it there home didn't like the Aztecs either, which is part of the three major reasons it was so easy for Cortes to conquer the Aztecs, they were the most hated group since they were the conquerors (I guess like America and specifically white America today).

Stylistically so that maybe true but in terms of records and achievements no one can discount Latino fighers, regardless of bloodlines:

Salvador Sanchez, Bazooka Limon, Julio Cesar Chavez, The Marquez Bros, Marco Antonio Barrera, Carlos Zarate, Erik Morales, Jose Luis Castillo, there's so many awesome fighters coming out and who've come out of Mexico cant name them all. Granted these are all lighter weight fighters.

That Argentine dude Carlos Monzon ran the middleweights in the 70's, had
the record for successive title defenses til Bernard Hopkins broke it.

Roberto Duran was one of the best fighters of any weight class in my opinion. Just a ferocious, badass cat right there.
