Billions of people, who represent diverse sociological, intellectual, emotional, educational makeups...believe that there is a Creator, a God to be worshipped. Now, the fact that so many people believe something certainly doesn't make it true. But when so many people through the ages are so personally convinced that God exists, can one say with absolute confidence that they are all mistaken?

Jesus never said he was God, show me where he ever said he was God. Yes he did exist I can give you that but he never said he was God. He always told people that called him God, or the King that he never said that. The people assumed that.

Good response ghost, I been waiting for numerous people to show me in clear words where Jesus said he was Thee God and was worthy of worship, and that one is to pray to him, but normally most folk start coming up with way out explanations and twisted interpretations. Matter of fact can someone show me where Jesus claimed a religion called Christianity? Jesus always deflected the praise that was given to him.

On the real that doesn't surprise me, I was raised so-called baptist, but when one take even a little time to do some research the truth eventually comes to light, some though take the easy way out and just settle on "how they were raised"...I know I went off topic but this quote I posted a couple of times on here reminds me sort of what you said and how you changed your beliefs...

"You are the sum total of all your beliefs, and your beliefs are always subject to change as your knowledge base expands. Most people refuse to accept a new belief simply because it contradicts their present belief system... "
"To continue to believe in a proven falsehood is detrimental to the believer. One must never be afraid to evaluate new information and accept it if it is proven to be true. People fear, instability, therefore it is natural for them to resist the destruction of their old belief system until they have an accaptable belief system to replace the old one. "

I like how that was put...nothing worse than someone stuck in one narrow minded way of thinking and not willing to look at new information because it don't go along with thier old belief. Not just religion but other subjects too.

I saw a movie and I think it was called "Straight outta Brooklyn" and at the very end it said the first things learned are the hardest to forget.
Whats your opinion?

Thats real right there, after learning alot of things I now know, it took me a minute to shake off the "traditional" things that were ingraved in my thinking, from holidays, religions, history, race and some other things, but after getting locked up I chosed to take the time to challenge myself and study myself, and the things that were important to me, and after doing that I found out that what I was believing in was alot of bs, but I dont fault my parents, they taught me what they we're taught as most parents do, but it ends with me, I now teach my little one's the truth....(kind of off topic, I know)
