That was already a year ago? Damn. Well, RIP, Tookie. I'm not afraid to say it. I think he was honest in his intentions late in his life. People like him, if given the right forum, really could slow down the violence. Seems that those in charge had other ideas...and we can see how well that worked out. One year since Tookie's been put to death, and, funny thing is, I don't feel any safer. Shouldn't it be the opposite?
