Projects like these are good, but they do give people a false sense. You can only be traced as far back as they have samples for, and those samples are taken from DNA in certain locations. That doesn't mean that your family necessarily was BORN there, they just happen to be there when DNA was taken. Likewise, if tomorrow they find a old skeleton that is found in China that they can extract DNA from and it shows that all people are some how related that doesn't necessarily mean we're all chinese. It just means we can be traced to a body found in China during whatever period it can be dated for. It's almost impossible to factor in people travelling. It's why a good portion of african americans get traced back to Europe with it meeting a dead end. It doesn't mean they're european, just simply their ancestors were in Europe at some point. Again, great projects they're just far from perfected yet.
