These muf!@#as turned their hoses, dogs and guns on our elderly, took the american flags out our peoples hands as they were begging(like fools) to be accepted. This wasn't hundreds or thousands years ago either. And then muf!@#as got the nerve to say, "just forget about it" "move on"...

if all white people are evil, is it fair to say all black people are welfare abusing crack dealers? nevertheless footage in the video is very actual and real and showed what life was like for african americans in the 60s-70s. its sometimes hard for younger people to realize what the country actually was.

I dont think that that has to do with white people its just the usual way how people reject responsibility for atrocities in the past when they at the same time take pride in achievements of the past.

I do onot condone that but i would say, that that is a normal psychological reflex of unconscient humans. Why bother thinking about bad things when there are so many good things in the present. Its the anxiety of responsibility.
Believe me, i say that as a german, i have no direct responsibility for the Holocaust and Nazi crimes, but my responsibility and that of my generation is-in my eyes- to never let such things happen again and learn out of the mistakes of the past, otherwise millions would have died in vain.
Unfortunately not many people share this opinion.

But, if you dont learn out of the mistakes of the past, you are bound to repeat them.

Simply attack them verbally (and once even physically) cuz someone different from them happens to be "oppressing" them by sitting alone in a room and eating his dinner.

I don't know if this ^ can be called reverse racism though. Are you talking more in the lines of clubs that are only for Blacks and excludes everybody else? OR something?

Racism is racism, doesnt matter if it's "reverse" or "forward". Thing is, by mentioning "reverse" racism in this particular format unfortunately reeks of undercutting the larger issue. The original flow here had to do with how things were during MLK's time; vicious and brutal for Black folk. It's a stretch to believe "reverse" racism existed during those times when Black folk were essentially powerless.
