To Jakk..now I know that British peeps been trying to educate our American cousins about British beef, but I gotta call you on this one! In your list, you slipped in 28's/PDC - 28's hardly exist anymore (old Brixton based crew) and though PDC (aka Poverty Driven Children/sometimes known as Muslim Boys esp in media, based in South London) are a big gang by British standards, they are tiny tiny tiny, compared to the others on your list, don't know their numbers, but my bet wouldn't be higher than a few hundred, apart from associates and thats being generous. PDC may be fierce as hell but they haven't got the numbers

The Red Mafia (Russian) and Triad (Chinese) Has an estimate of well over 100,000. Its common since that any country with hugh population will have a hugh criminal following. Yakuzas are considered gangs. Yakuzas and other mafia family are considered gangs. They aren't street gangs but are still considered gangs, organizations, etc.
