And like in these examples slavery still affects blacks and colonization still affects the "third world". Also because its not even as long ago as these examples i stated.
The Armenians (about a million of them) have been murdered by the Turks 100 years ago, but if youd say "Get over it" to one of them into their face its a flatline for you.
The past DOES affect us, only those in denial of injustice of the past- or those supportive of these injustices (like todays Nazis: "i dont care about the Holocaust, i didnt commit it")- deny that.

real talk. And good example with the Armenians. The reason many Armenians seem so hostile and aggressive is because of their history and no closure being brought to the issue. With blacks, slavery happened, and then jim crow, and then some more shit, and still some more shit, so there's no closure and just a bunch of confused angry people (of course every one is not like this, just making an example).

Yes, i agree. I see that happening to a lot of people, Jews, Kurds, Armenians, blacks.....To be honest -no pun intended- i perceive many black americans like that aswell.
But thats the syndrome you get when being uprooted, mistreated and then being left alone. Look at the world, all ethnicities, races, nations, peoples that went through this BS share that same kind of "syndrome".

Iam not even disrespecting them cause i got to know a shitload of Turks that are hardworking, upright peole. I love them, but some of them are fucked up, just like its the case within all races....
And yes, Turkish people are hell of a mixed ethnicity. You cant even distinguish man of them from northern europeans, depends on how much you go further east in Turkey. In the east the Arab influence comes through, in the west the european does. And dont even get me started about history...Turkey has always oriented itself mostly towards Europe.

Look at islam in europe, the turkish are white (every turk ive seen on the net is white in my eyes), the christian faith is being replaced via immigration and higher birthrates of immigrants. Look at the mexicans of america, in the case of texas and california they were always here living in america just as long as the whites. So when america aquired those territories (Manifest destiny) - almost got canada but we burned your white house to the ground twice 1812 baby- the mexicans werent that numerous so the culture wasnt strong. But with the shift in demographics the mexican culture is becoming more profound and replacing the anglo culture and thats why alot of whites are hating on mexicans. Also the mexicans are retaking there old land and driving out the other races which is breeding more racism etc... Almost all mexicans ive seen are white (those mexicans on the homepage of streetgangs.com) are white lol, so the bottam line here is its a culture thing....

Look at Canada, we get refugees from everywhere america, china, europe everywhere. My nation is said to be the most diversified nation of the world, we have 32 major ethnicities with over a 1000 peopel each. Look at toronto, they have a little greek town, little china, little portugal, little russia, little jamaica, Toronto is still predominatly white but culturaly it will change. White canadiens here are afraid of being replaced, or driven out by other nationalities. But i see alot of people getting along here so those people are just a bit dilusional i think. If your caramel here you enjoy the best of both worlds no lies there. Anyways up here its a combination of cultural and genetic fears.
