Text messaging is massive in UK, its the most common way to get in touch - and if you've met a new link (girl), they most often send a text message before calling if they are a lil shy. Its good. Less than 10 years ago most people didnt have a cell phone, and I remember the late 1990s when almost noone had a cell phone. Now today everyone seems to NEED a cell phone. It is a convenience but certainly over rated.
