is Jesus the son of God or simply a man? this question actually goes past whether or not your christian, after i saw the movie i did research of my own, there was actually a council of Nicea in 325 AD and at this meeting, consantine I made christianity the religion of the country! then all books and gopels of the bible where hand picked by man! at that time catholisism was heavy so to argue or disagree with the theory of the holy trinity was considered a heredic act and had many negative results! also in 1947 i believe, there where some ancient scrolls (NOG hamandy library?)uncovered in a cave in egypt, these scrolls where dated back to the time of christ, and in one of them was the gospels of phillip, and in this it soes say that" Jesus loved magdaline, more than any of his disciples and would often kiss her, at that point there is a whole in the text! so no one knows for sure, but to me it is obvious that there has been a lot of human tampering in what is christianity as we know it today!

SONS OF GOD:
The Bible ascribes more then one son to God.
(a) 'Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the SON OF GOD." LUKE 3:38
(b) "That the SONS OF GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took wives of all which they chose. ". . when the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." GENESIS 6:2 and 4
(c) " . . Thus- saith the Lord, Israel is MY SON even my FIRSTBORN." EXODUS 4:22
(d) " . . and Ephraim is my FIRSTBORN," JEREMIAH 31:9
(e) " . . Thou (o David) ART MY SON; this day have I (God) BEGOTTEN thee. " PSALMS 2:7

("FIRST BORN:" How can there be two "firstborns"?)
("BEGOTTEN" How can God beget David at the age of forty?

But they have not yet been confirmed to be real. Even though the Vatican bought them and locked them up in their library available for no one....So you do the math.

i just dont understand why a "christian" can so easily talk down other religions when they dont truly know theirs! they only know what they are allowed to know by the governing bodies! and for those who are offended, know that i was raised catholic and that im not a muslim or jew!

let me say that i respect the bible and the torat, i resect the prophet jesus and prophet moses!
but the bible they speak of, is not the bible i speak of, nor is the prophets they speak of, our prophets.
the truth has been corrupted by the passage of time, and by the lies of men.

peace.

Yea. I mean look at history, how many times did they fuck up? 100x? 1000x?
I believe in Religion without a church and most of those zealots of the past are right now in hell dancing with the devil.

If we are children of God
and God has no religion.

the question is like asking
if humans are homosapiens
or intelligent beings.

only religions need a fairytale to create a belief system

Truly spiritual people have a better understanding of the universe than that! Even the ones that buy into religion look past the stories as metaphors.
