Definitely Harvard Park of the ones listed, but remember that other westside Bloods like Black P Stones are considered Brims too, even though they dont use the name Brim, and BPS is probably deeper.

TH, How it was explained to me on here:
Brims, used to be a gang way before bloods/crips, they joined with piru's and other sets like Denver Lanes to make the Bloods.... They all represent their individual gang name first and then Bloods...So if these Blood sets were orignally West Side, that's maybe why they remain Brim.

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
Oh okay. So the Stones & the FTB, VNG Brims, HPB do have the same gang sign. Seems a lil confusing 2 me but when the gangsters themselves are in a given so-called gang geographical location hitting people up w/ the sign, other gangsters or locals know what the gang sign means.
I've noticed a couple gangs have the same/similar hand signs. I've seen ETG 4 ex. throw up the N (w/ the thumb (Harlem 30s) extended on 1 hand & the pinky & index finger extended on the other hand. When u connect em it forms the N, which means Northside ETG. The Broadways use the big B hand sign which I'm sure some Bloods use 4 the Blood identity, but the little b is most widely used. The NHPs in Inglwd use the NHB sign which they got from the 20s (the 20s & a guy from NHP in Compton help found the Inglwd NHP); the East Coast & 18th street sign are similar except that the middle are index fingers are in different positions when thrown up.

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
Most all westside Bloods use the Brim hand sign, but each of those sets have another specific sign. For example the VNGs create a "V" with their four fingers, but they still throw up Brim.

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
Athens Park Bloods use this sign too and they were down with Pirus before they became bloods.........Athens park are down with the miller gangsters and stones..........I'll ask the homie next time I see him.......he about 59 now and he was an Athens Park Boy so he should know
Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
Not sure who are which is the biggest but imo...it has to be HPB...61, 62, & 64. I guess if you count the Stones then they would be bigger...city and j's together. Brims have been very active the past few months...actually the past year. A lot of their youngsters are out an about all over Normandie..Vermont all over.
Why didn't the 20's ever become Brims?

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
The Fruit Town Brims, occupy a small corner of turf so to be larger than the HArard Park Brims, or Black Stones might be a stretch. Now FTB could be bigger than VNGs, but that is a maybe. Not sure.BlueMoon wrote:The young homie from 83 gangsta told me the froot town brims are the biggest as of now.........I didn't believe him but he's a youngsta

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
Are the VNG & the Rollin 50 Brims the same set? If not I can imagine the VNGs are the biggest of the 2. Would that be correct? Or are they the same set just from different subsets of the VNs.
Listening 2 Yard Down Music, I hear about F(ruit)H(arvard)N(ess). Nothing about the Rollin 50s Brims though.

Re: Biggest of the Brim sets?
R50 brims is and older set and VNG branched off from them from what i was told.alot of ogs from there usually the bike rider type. i always known then to be closer around crenshaw high school around 10th ave north of 6th ave and vng mostly between arlington and western, maybe someone can detail better than me.
