Have you seen Colors? lately. I caught it on HBO a few days ago. It has not aged well!LOL Totally dated dress code, the soundtrack is mostly pop rap music of that period. Not to mention the fact that it's told from the POV of two white cops. Let it rest in peace.

Nah, just leave it alone. That movie captured a moment in time that can't be reproduced. If bangin is as real as it was back then, then, I'm sure a movie can be worked out but it has to be original and appropriate for its time. If it aint meant to be then it aint meant to be. Oh no, you aint got to worry. It's a 213 thang. The real mixed gangs of that era were GANGSTER to the full. You have to experience what it was to live through that era, to appreciate the movie.
