How Do You Feel About Referring To Black Women As B****/Hoes

These concepts are socially constructed and have been given much weight. What are your thoughts?

How Do You Feel About Referring To Black Women As B****/Hoes

Postby Common Sense » March 25th, 2004, 8:32 pm

Many young black men are out there still referring to black women as Bit -chezs and Hooooo'ez.

Does this send a message to our young females of what to expect from black men?

Is this really the feeling about black women or is it just another accepted sayin' like n***a.

Because sometimes we should be mercyful. Just because I feel a woman's lifestyle is that of a B***h and a hoe, who am I to kick her at her lowest point. She probably expects it because every other male in her life probably kicked her too, including family members.

Sometimes people learn through other people's compassion. Rather than continuing her misery......just be kind. People of color are not nearly as kind to each other as they should be.

These B***h'es and hoes are somebody's mothers, sisters and aunts, and I'm sure if you dug deep enough you would find a troubled soul in desparate need of help........not more abuse.

In some cases you are right, but not everything, there are people out there that really dont care who they sleep with. I know a girl that smokes all day and fu@k all night. She said thats what she likes to do when her check comes on the first she pays her bills and smokes up the rest. She says she gots to have some good dick as well. What I like about her is she honest and dont give a fu@k what you call her. Now thats a true HO!

To Blues and Blkjoker:

Calling a woman a B***h and a Ho because of a sponataneous situation such as an arguement is totally different than referring to women as B***h and Ho's. For a matter of fact, some women refer to other women as B***hes and Ho's out of anger.

In a arguement it's more of a reaction, doesn't mean that the name caller really means it or that it's right to call a woman out of their name just because your mad.

When a man refers to women as B***hes and Ho's in general or as a less than group, that's a different story. That basically that man has no respect for women as a gender. It usually stems from some deep seated trauma or poor male modeling toward women from the man's past. This is the worst case scenerio. This man would most likely have intimacy problems with women and possibly is mentally and physically abusive. If the woman has kids and the kids are subjected to this abusive demeaning lifestyle, the males could possibly grow up to be B***ches and Ho haters.

Now the woman that pay's her bills on the first, smokes all dayand is all about gettin' some all night, I'm not sure if we can really clasify her as a Ho. There's alot of men who do the same thing. 40 ounce all day, smokin' out all evening and tryin' to get some from every chick that's willing. Do we call these men Ho's?

Women like to get theirs just like the next guy. We tend to have a double standard for women who drink, smoke and get a little bit from a few fools.

^^No.

^^Hell No. As you are aware, many (most?) Black women refer to themselves as Bi tches or Hoes. Hell bi tch is a word of strength for some women. If you act like one, then do not be surprised if someone refers to you that way.

The sad thing is............I seem to run across waaaaaaaaaaaay more men that are behaving, walking, talking, and living their life like straight BI-TChes.

I do my best in not calling femalez these names but i must say i too have fallen victim to using the words about general females. I refuse to call my lady "out of her name" but at the same time when i refer to females in general as this then i might as well call her one too. But i agree with OMacc i try not to use the words. its not positive in the blacc community. there is enough words putting "our people" down.

If a woman is your boss and is on your case everyday "that report is wrong, your were 3-minutes late to work, your desk is sloppy" what will you call her????

If you find out your girl who gives you the pus everynight and claims she is cummin everytime you are with her, is fuccin her ex-man, one of your homies and a neighbor on the block, WHAT IS SHE???

There is always a situation where these words are appropriate.

But like I said before.......I seem to run across waaaaaaaaaaaay more men that are behaving, walking, talking, and living their life like straight BI-TChes.

LETS ALL BE REALISTIC. KIM JUST DON'T SHOW A LITTLE CLEAVAGE SHE HAS SHOWN EVERYTHING. NOT TO MENTION THE ABORTION SHE HAS HAD. LOOK AT ALL THE WOMEN WHO HAS EARNED MONEY AND DIDN'T HAVE TO SHOW THEIR BREAST FOR IT. IT KIND OF MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT ALL THE THINGS SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO , BUT CHOOSE TO DO TO EARN MONEY. AND WHAT MAKES IT SO BAD. SHE IS THE ONLY WOMEN I SEE WHO GETS ON T.V AND SHOWS EVERY THING BUT HAS YET TO HAVE A #1 MOVIE OR# 1 CD. HELL IF YOU GONNA DO ALL THAT ATLEAST BE #1.

Here is a quick question?????

Question for the males on the string......

If you were acting less than stellar, and a woman called you a derogatory that she felt fit your behavior.....you would be pissed?

Ya see...I believe if we go there with derogatory name calling, we invite unnecessary confrontation, which somtimes end up in unnecessary jail time.

Some women may act like H*** all day long, but that's there problem..not yours. Then again we don't know what their baggage is, obviously it's something going on to even warrant that type of attention. There's nothing wrong with being mercyful sometime.

Really? I think when we start getting used to using derogatory names as terms of endearment, we are taking steps backwards. In a sense, we are giving permission to be downgraded.

It's only a matter of time before others start calling black women b's and hoez's.

It teaches the young girls they are not as worthy as other women.

Your right, this could apply to all women, but for sake of this thread, it was named black women, since that's where most of this abuse is aimed toward.

Individual wrote:i call all girls women n hoes..

So you don't have respect for women? Respect for your mother, aunts, grandmother????? etc.

Individual wrote:and it aint the street and homie or music influence..

You don't need to be from this, to have no respect for women.

Individual wrote:its my own experiences and seeing how each and every one of them are women n hos..they're scanless

This could be true, but I would have to give you the benefit of the doubt, that you don't have too much experience with women.

Not on the scale like black women. Black women has been referred as B's and H's so much that is has almost become commercial.

I have never heard a Jewish man call a Jewish female a B or a Hoe.
