tattoo symbol

Hey everyone whats up. I do tattoos for a living and was wondering about a symbol I have seen. I am told its a hispanic gang symbol. The symbol is "C/S' a c then a slash then an s . I was wondering if it is and the meaning behind it.

From all over southern california. I have seen it on several tattoo artists and was told it originated with hispanic gangs a long time ago. It supposedly stands for,"con suertos", "con sabos", or "con safos" everyone I talk to has a different story.
I have been told several different meanings. Like "with respect", "protected by god", and "with safety"
The only consistancy is that the general idea behind it is give respect get respect.
