Urban Migration from Los Angeles to the Valleys

Unread post by MiChuhSuh » April 29th, 2007, 1:22 pm

Well the last ten years people from Compton, Watts, LA, and Long Beach have been moving to the SFV/SGV and the IE - especially suburbs in San Bernardino County and Riverside County.

A lot of people lately have been moving to Las Vegas in the past 5 years though

Another other "migrations" going on in the nation?

A lot of people up north are moving down south.

I knew a lot of kids that I went to school with moved to Atlanta for a while, a few came back here and there.

The reason why blacks are so few on the eastside of Los Angeles and in Compton is because of out-migration out of LA to the Antelope valleys, Palmdale, Lancaster and to the inland Empire, Perris, Rialto, Rancho, etc.
