I hope that too. Before that there will be no peace in Middle East.
And on a side note, Ahmadinejad isn't the one that holds the political power in Iran. That's why it's pretty funny how western media always quotes his words as an example of Iranian political wish. And many times those words are even translated wrong for the obvious reasons.
Now, let's take a look of what Israel's political elite have said about Palestine and arabs in general:
"There is a huge gap between us (Jews) and our enemies not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy." - Israeli president Moshe Katsav. The Jerusalem Post, May 10, 2001
"The Palestinians" would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls." " - Israeli Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988
"Ours will be a brutal land of pens stretching between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean that will make South African apartheid pale." - Yigal Bronner
A lot, lot more of that kind of hate speech you can find from here -> http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/palestinians.html

streetsIswatchin wrote:The border here in the US has always been open so whats your point?? And second Israel may have 400 nuclear warheads but they aren't going to use them to intimidate and completly dominate the middle east like Iran is sure to try and do. Put your money on that because thats what they plan to do with their nuclear power.

I know the history well, and yes they have been there for centuries, but where always ruled by other nations. lets have a look:
The Assyrians conquered Israel in 722 or 721 B.C
The Babylonians conquered Judah around 586 B.C
About 50 years later, the Persian king Cyrus conquered Babylonia.
The Persians ruled the land from about 530 to 331 B.C
Alexander the Great then conquered the Persian Empire
After Alexander's death in 323 B.C., his generals divided the empire. One of these generals, Seleucus, founded a dynasty that gained control of much of Palestine about 200 B.C
About 61 B.C the romans came in. (the Romans drove the Jews out of Jerusalem. The Romans named the area Palaestina, at about this time. The name Palaestina, which became Palestine in English)
A.D. (300's) by the Byzantine Empire
Jerusalem was conquered about 638 by the Caliph Umar (Omar) (who gave his protection to its inhabitants.)
The Seljuk Turks conquered Jerusalem in 1071
they were replaced by the Fatimid rulers of Egypt
then the crusaders came along and held it uptil 1187 (They captured Jaffa and Jerusalem in 1099, slaughtered many Jewish and Muslim defenders and forbade Jews to live in Jerusalem.)
In that year, the Muslim ruler Saladin conquered Jerusalem
The crusaders left Palestine for good when the Muslims captured Acre in 1291
in 1517, Palestine became part of the Ottoman Empire (The Turkish Sultan invited Jews fleeing the Spanish Catholic inquisition to settle in the Turkish empire, including several cities in Palestine)
In 1798, Napoleon entered the land. (The war with Napoleon and subsequent misadministration by Egyptian and Ottoman rulers, reduced the population of Palestine. Arabs and Jews fled to safer and more prosperous lands)
During World War I (1914-1918) An Ottoman military government ruled Palestine
The Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 called for part of Palestine to be under British rule, part to be placed under a joint Allied government, and for Syria and Lebanon to be given to the France
In November 1917, before Britain had conquered Jerusalem and the area to be known as Palestine.
During world war 2, the jews started illegal immigration to Palestine from occupied Europe
The Balfour Declaration -:stating Britain's support for the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine
The Biltmore Declaration: (This was not simply a return to the Balfour declaration repudiated by the British White Paper, but rather a restatement of Zionist aims that went beyond the Balfour declaration, and a determination that the British were in principle, an enemy to be fought, rather than an ally)
Partition - The United Nations Special Commission on Palestine (UNSCOP) recommended that Palestine be divided into an Arab state and a Jewish state.
The War of Independence - 1948 War : took place as soon as the partition solution was passed by the UN.
(and from then on we all know what happend. )
Maybe you dont want to call it an invasion, but what do you call it , when one nation seizes anothers land, they have the deeds to the land, there fore fathers had worked on those lands, but yet they shall have to give it up because thousands of years ago, it belonged to the jews........
