i would make it illegal for companies to send jobs overseas and force them to give the jobs to americans that way hopefully less people would be on wellfare and section 8. then i bet the crime rate would go way down i would make abortions illegal to thats just cuzz i think its murder. what would ya make illegal if ya had the chance???

I don't think making more laws is going to solve any problems.

If you want to fix the welfare situation (or any problem, for that matter), you have to research it, first. Do you think that the reason most people are on welfare because they can't get a job because of out sourcing? I don't really know enough about this, but what kind of jobs are getting outsourced?

Personally, I want less laws. Id rather see the government effectively maintain the law the laws that are current rather than add more. I'd have an easier time talking about what I think should be made legal (or at least decriminalized).

That said, I'm looking forward to Houston's smoking ban expanding to bars later this year, but I wonder what it's going to do to some of the hookah bars around town.

Just because I don't agree with something or I think it's morally wrong doesn't mean it has to be illegal. I've seen study after study that shows that men get more aggressive after watching pornography. I don't think porn should be illegal for that reason, though.

I make my own personal choices. I'd like to be allowed to make my own choices. Whether that means I get to choose to to smoke a joint in the privacy of my home or whether or not I choose to marry someone of the same sex or whether or not I choose to end my own life. It's my damn choice.

Yeah. I'm borderline libertarian.

i love fitteds they come in any color so u can get one to match anything and when i need a hair cut i can just wear a fitted and still look good

When they first came out I always thought they were too big and were only for fat people, now Im used to them, I dont wear hats normally anyways, plus I look weird in a fitted

What should be illegal? Not taking care of your kids and encouraging self-destructive behavior.

But the problem is, how would that be enforced? Penalizing them would generally make the situation worse; it's just such a deep rooted and difficult issue.

I mean being a negative mental and emotional influence, even if you don't directly starve, abuse, or abandon your children you can contribute to their mental and emotional afflictions indirectly

i would make stupidity and ignorance illegal. and when you prove you can't be a functional part of society we just deport you to another country and give you a 10 year ban of coming to america. it would fix many problems in this country in five years. get all the a-holes out, keep the borders open to new waves of immigrants.

in england they are fining the parents and sometimes putting them in jail if their children dont attend school.........but how do parents control their children....?

I'm going to assume you don't have children, so don't take what I'm about to say to heart...unless you are a parent then listen up. I hate when parents say stuff like "I don't know how to control my child" or "I just let them do what they want, it's easier" Wow, just fuckin wow. Kids will act up, especially between the ages of 2-4 when they're really understanding things and trying to communicate to other people, and other people might not understand what they want. They get frustrated easy. Regardless, my child rarely acts up in public or at home, and if she does she knows at this age what the consequences are. Children test the limts of what a parent will and won't let them do. It's the parents JOB to show their child those limits and call them on it. I don't understand parents that act like parenting a child is hard. It's your fucking kid, you wanted it, you deal with it. I don't get parents who think it's funny when a child swears, or throws stuff, or acts like an ass. You don't need to beat your child to get them to listen but you don't need to baby your child and let them think they're the centre of the universe. Sorry, I just get upset when I see parents not parenting.

Well....the smoking ban just started here July the 1st....which means no smoking in any bar, pub, club etc. I smoke 'roll up's' (hand rolling tobacco) when out having a drink and am finding it very fucccin horrible not being able to smoke a rolly whenever I please...but at the same time, I'm down with it beacuse its better for my health, because I'm too lazy to keep popping outside for a smoke now.

I'd make Marzipan illegal, it makes me sick. Also ban giant poodles. Or shoot them, they need to be stopped, they are plain wrong.
