Haha some Egyptians on the street told me, that the biggest problems are with the Gulf Arabs here, because they drink whiskey like holes, molest the women and love to gamble. They cant stand them.

Even the Muslim Brotherhood, which is connected to Al Quaeda is trying to involve the Copts in their struggle against the Egyptian government. There are plenty of impressing and old Coptic churches here and the Copts are allowed to sell alcohol, drink, celebrate their holidays and so on. Once in a while tensions seem to flame up, but its nothing serious.
The average guys on the streets get along. End of story.

Ya, but I wasn't talking about now. Of course Egyptians Coptics and Muslims get along. That's like saying white people and Asians in America get along - but try saying that in 1943! My point was historical, not current day.

By the way, did you see the "Ghost  Mary" on the Coptic church roof there?

maybe it stopped going on but there was Coptic Church which had a "vision of Mary" on its rooftops, it was like a ghost-like light illumination on its roof. Hundreds of people both Coptic and Muslim were there and it supposedly helped bring the two communities a little closer. But I think it was BS personally.
