The Fruit Town OG, pissed off he didnt get what he asked for, killed two members of Compton Flats - veteranos as well. I think even no longer active veteranos of Flats. One of them, I don't remember what they called him, but he was even killed eating dinner with his family. The Fruit Towns shot through his living room (or kitchen, I don't remember) window and the bullet hit him in the head - killing him in front of his whole family.

Prior to this incident, the Fruit Towns and Compton Flats got along well. You would even hear alot of the Flat OG's talk like bloods...bigarette, bompton, blood, the whole lingo. Even after Flats started going at it with Tree Top, the Fruit Town and Flats 'friendship' stayed in tact(though there was, obviously, minor tensions here and there). Your version still matches with mine...FTP killed two veteranos from Flats because of that incident...one of them was in front of the dinner table in his house - shot through the window, the other could have very well been the guy you are referring to. I also remember that atleast one of these TF veteranos, possibly both, were no longer active gang members.

I don't know much about Chicano Gang and Tiny Gangsters, I was very young in the late 80's - I didn't really start bangin hard until 1990 (13/14 years old). So my real time bangin was from 1990 to when I moved out of Compton in 1998...with a few years of random visits afterwards, no longer than a few hours stop at a drug spot every six months or so to catch up. So I would say my primary activity is the 90's...not really the 80's. Though I had been living in Compton for a few years already by then, and was always riding my bike around the hood - so I saw things and heard things. But not enough to say I really knew anything.

When I was growing up the real hardcore (raza) gang were, Flats, Largo 36 (very strong in the 90's too), Setentas and 155. I probably didn't hear much of the Segundos cuz they were on the opposite side of Compton.

I heard of Locos alot, but only because I used to hang out with Flats so much. I've kicked it at choppers house when Locos and Flats shit went down...I remembered how down Gangsta (RIP) from Flats was because of that. It was almost like he had a death wish. Its crazy to think that he survived Compton and got killed in Mexico (I also remember the way he dressed, all zoot suite style) .

Locos is a small but powerful gang...atleast when I was in Compton. Sure Flats would put a beating on them and have on various occasions even tooken over there couple streets they claim...but Locos would put in work too...not an easy gang to run out.
