Rotterdam is crazy man,the polish too.
Sometimes it goes too far, real hooligans fight hand to hand.
I hear the turks stab eachother all the time in ankara and Istanbul, and that the normal fans leave the match about around the 80 minutes because all hell breaks loose afterward.
btw
Feyenooooord!!!
ey boston do they riot over there?

By PA Reporters
Police are questioning 21 football fans arrested during violent clashes before Manchester United's Champions League quarter-final against AS Roma.
Hundreds of supporters were caught up in ugly scenes outside Old Trafford before the game, which finished 7-1 to United as they progressed 8-3 on aggregate.
The main stand-off took place at the front entrance to the stadium on Sir Matt Busby Way as riot police and dog handlers separated rival fans.
Italian fans were bombarded with bottles and cans of beer as they were subjected to weapon searches at the away turnstiles.
Several Roma supporters criticised the delay in getting them into the ground before the vast majority of home fans arrived for the match.
The first signs of trouble were said to have been triggered by a group of about 30 Manchester United fans who attempted to charge through the police segregation line.
Eyewitnesses said a firework was fired by Italian fans at Manchester United supporters as bottles were then hurled between rival groups.
However, the vast majority of bottles were thrown from United fans as police attempted to capture the perpetrators on film by using hand-held video cameras.
Some of the United fans sang "Where are your famous ultras now?", a reference to the hardcore Roma supporters' group.
Greater Manchester Police said there were no reports of any injuries, but there were several walking wounded outside the stadium before the match.
Parents with young children in the Roma supporters' queue were led tearfully to safety as the wave of missiles continued up until kick-off when the crowds finally dispersed.
Fourteen of those arrested were English and seven were Italian, police said.
Eight United fans, including one juvenile, were arrested on suspicion of committing public order offences, one was detained for allegedly possessing a bladed article, one for allegedly possessing an offensive weapon, two were held on suspicion of causing affray, one for suspected criminal damage and one was arrested for a suspected breach of the peace.
Two Italian supporters were arrested on suspicion of public order offences, a third was held for allegedly possessing an offensive weapon and a fourth was held for allegedly possessing an offensive weapon and committing a public order offence. Three others were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, believed to be from the Manchester United Megastore.
Roma supporters began trailing out of the ground at about 10.15pm and were led largely without incident to the car parks where a fleet of coaches transported them back to the airports.
However, there were further reports of clashes involving Roma fans who were heading back on foot into the city centre.
Greater Manchester Police said Tuesday night's incidents were "small and isolated" and were resolved quickly.
Following the game, the Match Commander - Superintendent Charlie Coxon - said: "There were some incidents prior to the match including a disturbance on the forecourt that took place while police were maintaining the segregation line to allow the Roma fans to enter the stadium safely.
"Unfortunately, due to the behaviour of a very small minority of United fans, police were forced to use batons and protective equipment, horses and dogs in order to prevent the disturbance spreading.
"Officers made 21 arrests and received no reports of injuries.
"It's important to realise that the vast majority of the 75,000 crowd did exactly what United and GMP asked for, which was to come to Old Trafford and enjoy another exciting night of European football."

Man, that was a sad game. I have to say that I don't like english football, but ManU really deserved their win over Roma. Roma played like they wouldn't have any pride at all. Professional players playing like they don't care, f*cking disgrace.niro wrote:haha they didnt need a beatdown cos their team got merked 7-1
But where were the ManU hoolies? I thought Roma fans would get a beat up there?

Unlike there basket case italian counterparts the english police are experts at dealing with hooligan problems. So there was no real chance for the italians to be attacked they was bused from the airport to the ground all under heavy escort. If you see the news the united fans made an attempt to attack the roma fans but the ENGLISH police was to well organized and beat them back.
The english OB did a very good job olf protecting the roma fans.Unlike the Italian riot police who was just total thugs .

I was just messing with you. It just that you all trying to portrait english hooligans like some kind of supermen when in reality for example italian hooligans (among few other europeans) are well known and have a good reputation.
And what I heard is that there were a lot of Roma fans willing to fight ManU fans before the match, but didn't got a change to do it because of the police there.

Your wrong Italians have a very BAD NAME among hooligans as cowards who only fight with knives and pick off small groups of normal fans. When ever the numbers ar even they run.Same as the turks no respect for there cowardly use of knifes.

A while ago there was no rioting between Feyenoord-krakau(polish),the police had a total lockdown according to some friends of mine.
Outside the stadium both sides couldnt even get close to eachother, there are probably gonna be more arranged fights away from the matches, because friends of mine told me it was impossible.
Cops where beating people down even who where just looking from a large distance, hooligan or not.

Where the hell did you hear this BS? The romans have no problems causing trouble by themselves. They need no help from eastern europe. There are more than enough of them.niro wrote:its true man, dem f*ckin talians called hooligan sets from poland and eastern europe to come help em fite united supporters wen they came roma.

I just found a good serie about international football hooligans (Real Football Factories International). Man, they are CRAZY in Balkans, Turkey, Italy, Argentina, etc.! This serie is done by BBC and it features one British guy travelling around the world and getting introduced to the local hooligan scenes.
Here's the first part of Turkey episode, but check also the Balkans episode where this British guy visits the Europe's oldes firm in Split, Croatia. Hajduk Split really got it going on. UK firms pales in comparison. And this serie shows good how hard the Ultras are in Italy, also. Even though some people here don't want to believe it...
