Of course it is weird. Just the way Nickels uses arguments that are usually used by white racists confuses me. I understand what you mean. But it was the mindset of ignorant, stupid europeans who didnt care about anything else.And they were the majority at that time, no doubt. But there were and are people who know to tell the difference.
