Study the Bible, and you'll know everything you have to. Don't get confused when some will say that Jesus is God, when rather, he is the Son of God.

All religion does is divide. I believe what the first poster was trying to say is what Christians, more specifically born again christians believe God and Jesus to be one in the same. Cathlocs however believe in a host of characters. God, Jesuse, Mother Mary all hold high esteem in catholism, as well as Saints.
In Christianity, in present terms we know them as evangilical christians, whereas the believe in Jesus is the sole being. Probably a metaphor for it. But if Jesus did exist, surely he never meant for all these different religions and beliefs. can you name how many religions or sub religions of Christianity? Theres gotta be more than 10. It just gets ridiculous after a while. Remember, Religion is man made, therefore you will follow the mistakes of Man by division.

I am Catholic & lot's of people believe the virgin & saints hold high esteem, but we only worship God. Catholics are Christians too.

Catholics fall under Christianity. But there is also a religion called "Christian", such as born again Christian. So when you say your Catholic, thats your religion which falls under Christianity, but there is also "Christians" who fall under Christianity and those are the ones who are evangilical and believe you will go to hell if you are not born again, er, excuse me, you will not be caught up in the rapture if you are not born again.

This true about Islam, that not many Christians know. Muslims have Jesus in their quran, they don't believe him to be the son of god but hold him in high esteem as one of their prophets, not quite the same as mohammed but still believed as a prophet. You would be suprised at how many persons are the same in Islam, Judaism and Christianity books of faith.

Vince could probably explain this better, but I'm pretty sure Muslims regard Jesus as the second greatest Prophet if I'm not mistaken. Albeit just a Prophet, no Son of God.

Jesus could be interpreted as the 2nd most important prophet seeing as how he brought a religion, but thier is NO son of God, but don't get it twisted all the prophets are important, moses also brought a religion as did Mohammed(but since he brought the final/ultimate religion he's regarded as the most important), but I'd agree Jesus would be second

- Jesus IS the son of God. Jesus is not God Allmighty. And was definitely not a prophet. He is not part of a Triad or a Trinity.

- Also religion is not a divider, it is the people who get mad at other people's stupid beliefs that become the dividers. If someone wants to call Jesus a prophet and put him on the same level with Muhammad who was a war monger and womenizer that had multiple baby mommas, and who took a 6 year old (Aiisha) as a wife, that should not make you upset or mad. Just let it be.

- If you are a Catholic but you don't believe in the saints then you dont believe in basic Catholicism. There are plenty of the belief systems to switch to. Why continue to be a Catholic?
