Philadelphia already 300 murders in 2007

Philly is a warzone. Philly isn't entirely bad, a LOT of people from New York are moving to Philly because of the lower cost of living, incredible night life, etc. etc. But still there's a serious homicide craze in this city. There are gangs all over but I dont know if that is to blame for the high murder rate. Everyone has burners and nobody is happy. I've noticed a large number of Bloods and Crips beginning to show up throughout the city. But unlike New York Bloods and Crips, these guys dont flagrantly flag or show off, they're really low key. A friend of mine is a blood who got initiated in LA but from just looking at him you wouldnt really notice it.

And they do not do colors in Philly. Even the small Blood and Crip Sets in Philly dont trip over colors at all. But niggas in Philly do indeed trip if you not from they hood and you walking through, you're at risk. My friends cousin was murdered when he was walking through South Philly with his girl. A nigga approached him and said "Where you from?" As soon as he said "Im from West Philly" the nigga shot him in the face, killed him right on the spot for that shit. The thing about Philly is that a safe block with turn dangerous real quick, if you're walking and you turn a corner and you see like 12 niggas standing in the middle of a small ass block, its better to go another way, cuz niggas are sharks out here.

Yeah, Philly really is no joke sometimes.
I'm originally from there and it seemed in 2007 like every week someone nearby was killed.
Almost like a virus or something, u kno?
Just crazy.

Ya I feel you, sounds crazy and like someone b4 me said it's kind of hard to picture Will Smith from West Philly, especially seeing as how he was portrayed as a comical figure

Thats why Will Smith NEVER goes back to West Philly. The last time that nigga was prolly in Philly was in the intro to Fresh Prince! Even in that show he had to move out the city!!
