if they make one in the U.S. they need to make it in similiarities to Balitmore, Philly, and Washington D.C. or Chicago and Detroit (like saints row)....

chicago wud be dope but i think its too small to do the chi alone. maybe put Chi-Town, St.Louis n Detroit together n id say it wud work good. even houston-dallas-san antonio wouldnt be bad, but not as good as sum of the other ideas in this thread.

There's some games mags/sites that have 'rumours' of GTA 5 coming out at the end of this year. Some places are hinting that it's gonna be set in Tokyo, but like I said, these are industry rumours, so nothing's certain. Rockstar say they haven't decided a city/release time yet, and won't comment on it other than that.

I hope they do another LA based GTA at some point, and another Miami (Vice City) based one as well. The old ones were good n all, but GTA 4 is way past the others for realism, I wanna be able to play that in the other city's instead of just having the 'old versions' ther

I think it could generally be any city but just make it more hood, thats what made san andreas the best GTA hands down that it was mad hood orientated. IV was tight but you didnt have enough beef on the street only heads you could catch beef with and blast were the cops which gets old. As long as you got rivals randomly appearing on the map I dont care where its based ill be all over it.

Looking forward to that biker gang add on tho , looks pretty dope

You can get into street beef on IV as well, but you have to start it. I've pulled a gun on a mouthy Russian in their area and ended up in a shoot out with guys pulling up in cars to blast over it. Same thing's happened when I've shot at some yardie's around the area of Jacobs cafe, or on guys dressed in 'hip hop' styled clothes, other similarly dressed guys pulling guns on me. One time I started a fight on a basketball court in the Harlem(Holland) area and ended up with all the players shooting at me together.

I loved that hood stuff in SA though, main reason I'd like a remake. They need to stay true to the city though, I don't think somewhere like Tokyo would have many of those area's. .

They made a Liberty City stories and a Vice City stories...but they never made a San Andreas stories.

I don't like how GTA4 went completely away from the old story lines.

SOme Latin Kings jumped me in an alley at night time cuz they were talkin shit and I wouldn't leave. So you can get in random street beef but not on no LA (San Andreas) funk on sight gang beef shit.
