Should Bret Favre retire?
Brett Favre is 39 i think, seems to have a strong arm and was almost in the Superbowl last season. Seems like he got some arm left.

Re: Should Bret Favre retire?
Favre is good, but at times he can be the worst.
He can still play another year, but he has some physical problems he's dealing with right now.
Last year he started off great, then finished the season like a bum. Thats a sign of him being old and tired. The game will pass him by if he stays too much longer.
He'd be a great back up quarterback but his legend and his ego will not allow him to come off the bench like Doug Flutie, Kurt Warner, Drew Bledsoe, Boomer Esiason, Kerry Collins and so forth..

Re: Should Bret Favre retire?
he should come off the bench, because Kurt Warner regenerated his career off the bench becoming a starter again and being successful in the playoffs. But if Favre still got it, then maybe he dont need to be second string.
Re: Should Bret Favre retire?
He is done imo, but that surgery may have given him a year or two with the Vikings if he signs....the Vikings are a great choice for him being that he has a top notch runnin game, decent D, and will not be asked to win the game too often. He will be the now typical QB game manager...with his arm strength, and a good receiver, he makes the Viking dangerous.
Re: Should Bret Favre retire?
I think Ol Brett is ruining his legacy and career by retiring and then un-retiring...
Dude is stringing along teams and then making them look bad at times w/ his play...
He should just retire and stay fishing and eating pork in Mississippi...
Although he does have some arm left, it is a young mans game and one bad step can cost you a lifetime of pain...
