There are Vato Locos clicks around Compton and one in Montebello. The one in Montebello, I am not sure if they are still around anymore, because my homies jumped out of it and never heard any news again.

I always assumed Vatos Locos was Nortenos, since they usually wear red. They hit up by holding up all thier fingers except the middle one, this forms a V and an L with one hand.

I am surprised to learn there arent many on the West Coast though, I always thought thats where they were.

Some fools from my city(McAllen,Tx.)tried to start a gang with that name...Of course this was not to long after, that movie already mentioned up in here above, had came out...But I think they didn't even last a year cause after awhile nothing was ever heard about them...I think they was just pulling peoples legs tring to be funny, bunch of lame comedians...But anyways what I can tell is that over across the border in Monterrey,N.L.,Mexico alot of vato loco gangs, all independent of each other and not one connected to the other in no way what so ever, popped up all over that metropolitan city over night...And yes you guessed it just right after the movie blood in blood out had come out down there...And some still exsist to this day...Vatos Locos forever,ha ha ha,lol...Man some fools just can't be original can they got to bite of others or movies, makes me laugh...Anyways I'm out got nothing else to say on that.............Thee Originale1. Puro Valle 956 & McAllito 4 Lifers...

There's a Vatos Locos gang in New York. It's one of the bigger Mexican gangs in NYC.
