Anybody know the history of the BB? Did they start of as a street gang or was it a prison gang that spread to the streets? I watched an episode of lockup and they said that the border brothers had a part of the yard that nobody wanted. They dont seem to have much power or respect in the yard, so why dont the sureños just force them to join their side?

i saw that shit on lock up,they said they control the area next to the bathrooms where it smells like nada but shit,but im just guessin surenos dont want them cuz they aint bout shit,i think surenos just want vatos who are down for their shit

Border Brothers started as exactly that..border brothers. They just clicked up for there own protection and took the name they were already given....Some are into that border trade and have those kind of connects.
