all i can tell about germany is that the crime is organized as hell i know alot of dudes makin more money in a month that a normal person makes in two years. there aint many streetgangs, there are only about 10 of them in my city, i live in Frankfurt its the crakk n crime capital of germany but the violance cant be compared to other country but we have places and hoods with sometimes 4-5 murders a year. the city aint too big it has like 700.000 inhabitants but there is always more than a million of people in the city beacause they work here. the organized crime here is only about drugs and prostitution to the fullest.

I was reading all those post and i was laughin more than ever.
I´m from Germany too. And you all can be sure that there in germany is no city (and i mean NO CITY) that is the same or like any city in the US!!!!!!
Yes we have some Gangs, some Skinheads, Nazis and others in our country. But the most of them are fare away of US Gangs or anything else.
In my city we had a gang for about 4 Years, at least 250 members, a hard structure, very hard in Buissness and they where operating from Nuernberg in the South to Bamberg in the North. A very big area.
They where extreme Powerfull but far away from a US Gang. They still existed till the German Police arrested over 75 of them for more than 12 years and about 20 members for about 6 years.

And then i was in the United states for about 3 weeks. (near Atlanta)freom than i know that the different between german (gangs) and US gangs is huge.

Aloha my friends!

Let me discribe the way a criminal German white boy goes that doesn't join foreign "gangbangers" on the streets. I am from a town called Bochum which is pretty much in the western part of Germany. I am 34 years old and did a long time with soccer related violence and pre aranged fights. In fact we have a very strong and very sick hooligan scene in our country which took it all to a new level. Especially the boys from Berlin, Dresden, Chemnitz and a few cities of western Germany like Frankfurt are the ones to be recognized with. Steroids, amphetamine and other stuff is a big theme and violence is coming back to the grounds big time. I joined a "gang" of soccer hoolies which had strong activities in pre aranged fights all over Germany and a few parts of Europe. You do it for the fame and for the kick, but we didn't use any weapons. This is because everybody wants to get out alive as you can imagine. After a few years after hard training your body starts to grow and so does your fighting experience. This is when the 1%ers will recognize you. In the area where I live there are mainly Bandidos and a few 81ers (you maybe heared of the killing which started among them in Germany). The both hooligan and biker scenes start to mix up. Most hooligans have the ruthlessness and the fighting skills the 1%ers are looking for. I'll give you an example. There was a Bandido called Eschley (Full member, no prospect) which also had a leading position in the hooligan scene of Gelsenkirchen. I fought him several times during riots and he was a tuff bastard. He was killed last year by an 81er.
However, after several years of doing violence the Bandidos approached us and offered us jobs as hired musceles, mostly at night clubs and stuff. A lot of people that I knew personally as hooligans wear the Bandidos patch these days. I don't because I ain't ride a bike and I got family now. But that is an evolution you can see in every place with strong grown hooligan scene. The notorious hooligans from Chemnitz now joined the Outlaws MC, as I heared last time. The 1%ers seem to recruit a lot of new memers from the grounds to prepare for a coming biker war. Latest news is that the Bandidos and 81 are meeting to make peace, but... ...you know. If you don't join the bikers you can do buisiness in other ways, but that is a door I didn't open. I know several people who got locked up for a long time because of drug trafficing and trading, espacially in western Germany. A good and authentic movie about that is "Rise of the footsoldier". Anyways, there are a few gangs in Germany, but its really not all that bad as you said.

You have the usual Hells Angels, Bandidos and the likes, you have Hooligan Firms which resemble a gang in some way if you ask me, then there are all kinds of mafias as anywhere in the world. Germany is a very rich country, so naturally there is a lot of money to be made here and they do it. And every once in a while it gets pretty violent, but its nowhere near the States or anything like that.

If you are looking for american style streetgangs, there are a ffew, but not many and they are not even near as violent.
