What's disturbing to me about the cartel videos is the cartel member's evil tone and "macho" voice particularly in this video, these guys are very tough and damn right evil. You could hear somebody hacking something in the background, probably a body. Also one of them sounds like Commander R1.

Damn fool that's some crazy shit. Does the Gulf Cartel have superior presence in Nuevo leon? The Zeta strongholds are near the Texas border I hear. I'm curious if Zetas got a large following when they broke off. How many hits has the Gulf Cartel taken from Zetas?

The Gulf Cartel hasn't really taken many hits from either Los Zetas or the military/federal police aside from Tony Tormenta being killed by the Mexican military tough the rumor was it that there was internal conflict in the Gulf Cartel or that Tony Tormenta betrayed some Mexican military captain, there was some hassle between them but who knows. I don't think/know Los Zetas have an official stronghold but I'm thinking Veracruz might be their stronghold. I don't think Los Zetas have a superior presence outside of Monterrey than the Gulf Cartel but overall the Zetas do have a superior presence but not by much.
