Are all those places government owned because if they are privately owned then it's not projects. For example, Varrio 8th Street is not in a projects but in a private complex called Wayvenwood.

Long Beach NS Asian Boyz got the Cherry apartments they call a project.

Van Nuys ABZ shared the Valerio apartments with Valerio st x3.

Heard SGV ABZ got a project as well.

South Central 52 Oriental Boyz shares the Pueblo Project with Pueblos.

Valerio Gardens wasn't really a housing project.

it was section 8 apartments.

the LAPD and media called it Valerio Gardens Housing Projects back then when that place was popping in 80's and 90's with Valerio Street, their Blythe Street allies and Asian Boyz that's why people thought it was projects.

that place is quiet now.

ABZ kicked VST out of there in 95. VST moved down to Valerio and Woodman.

Most Van Nuys ABZ youngsters aren't even from Van Nuys let alone live in Valerio.

The apartments got bought by another company who painted it pink and changed the name.

i think a few kids brought it back/kept it going.

they're with pacoima project boys so they get overlooked/overshadowed.

yes. the san fernando gardens is actually in pacoima not san fernando.

reason for this is san fernano is NOT city of LA. it's its own city.

while next door pacoima IS city of LA.

as a kid, back in the days, i always thought it was funny that pacas controlled san fernando gardens and san fernando high while san fer went to sylmar high.

this is a photo of the site where they built William Mead projects, 1941. There was a kennel in the area which is why the name Dog Town was used, but I could never find out where the dog kennel was located, but the dog kennel must go back to the 1880s or 1890s since Dog TOwn goes back to the period.
