Do these dudes hold major weight throughout the Cali Pens? Word is these dudes were branched off from the BGF. They are allies with bloods and Nortenos.Do KUMI members even rep there click when they are on the streets in the Bay?

kumi is the number 10 in swahili. Ten is the sum of 4 + 1 + 5.

VR, I've seen gang lists for Oakland that had 415's as a active gang on the streets Oaktown.

Kumi is a strong clique in the Level 4 prisons, though not nearly as strong as Crips and Bloods. However, they are more organized than Crips and Bloods. The strongest I seen them was at Folsom "B" yard, I believe this is their strong hold. The common theme was that they were an off shoot of BGF, but that may be debatable.

the founder of kumi passed away last year at folsom. it's been said that he personally knew george jackson.

his name was mousy brown. from what i've gathered, he started it in the early 80's as 415. back in those days, the entire bay area including where he was from in oakland had the area code 415.
