Why do white people pretend to be from black gangs?

Washington State:
In some of the smaller cities in this state I have noticed that a lot of white people, typically teenagers, try to associate themselves with black gangs primarily from California. Once you get to the bigger cities you will find serious gang activity from the big four (Sureno's, Norteno's, Crip's and Blood's) I have never understood why any white person would want to act black or mexican. I know of white guys that claim trece but even in those cases it is extremely rare and they dont "try" to act mexican, they just go with the flow. I get sick and tired of seeing this kind of crap. White boy with no tattoos claiming Piru Bloods or Hilltop Crips from Tacoma.

Why do people with the no ties to the south pretend to be surenos!?! That's a better question! Well I don't know the whole situation on the bloods & crips up there, but there's whites in LA that are bonified blood or crip members. You don't have to have a tat to be 1.

Outside of Seattle and Tacoma people can generally pretend to be whatever they want. Most are levas anyway and a big joke trying to act all hard.

Funny how to this guy blacks who claim sur go with the flow, but everybody else is trying to be another race to him. LOL Those fools are the only 1's I heard of trying to say they're Puerto Rican or some heavily black Latino race when they ride under with what they're affiliated with on the streets. Fools are a disgrace.
