Monte “M-Bone” Talbert of the group Cali Swag District was gunned down on May 15, 2011 in his hometown of Inglewood, California. The talented dancer rose to fame when the group’s song “Teach Me How to Dougie” became an international sensation last year.
Funeral services were held on Friday at Faithful Central church in Inglewood. He leaves behind a large family including 2 brothers and a sister. Grandmother was very influential in Talbert’s life and she gave an emotional speech during the funeral service.
No arrests have been made in Talbert’s death.
