I am trying to figure what this hand sign is, it is definitely a gang sign, but not sure what it is.

Maybe some kind of Folks/Disciples sign? Chicago gang signs are often based on the gang's emblem rather than the letters of the gang name. That could be the GD or MLD heart.

That's a common greeting amongst people who like to go see the band Liturgy as well, not sure if that is gang-related

this sign means that you giving love to the crips... you can see the heart shape and the two c's for the crip gang hand sign.
