Iphones & ipads no removable battery

When you want to shut your cell phone, turn it off and make sure its not transmitting, with most phones you just remove the battery, but has anyone ever wondered why iphones and ipad do not have removable batteries? Recently you may have heard that people with iphones had their movements tracked and mapped for over a year. I guess if you need a good alibi, that's useful, but how do you feel about your movements being tracked?
