I've seen a few people linking this video but I never gave attention to it. Now I took my time to watch it and I like when he shouts Conejo out. Realest Chicano rapper out here. I agree with what he says when he addresses those faggots from Hi-Power (Mr.Criminal, Capone-E and shit). If you ain't with the business, don't throw up your label sign like it's a varrio. Respect the other varrios.

Re: Red rag surenos
It is true, they do have Red rag Surenos. I am a Norteno, but I know a lot about this subject. There are 2 main gangs that wear red that are Surenos that I know of. #1. is Culver City! I know all about them because of family ties. My wife's little sister was with one of the homies from CxC. His daughter and my son are first cousins! Dude wears red all the time. The way that he explained it to me was they have been sporting that color before there was a North-South split. They decided to keep the Red because they have always wore it. They are definitely Surenos as well. They are an old gang that has been around since the 50's I believe. I got a tour of his hood from him. This may shock a lot of people, but we are both in-active gang members these days. We are both Christians, clean and sober and have moved on from all of that, so we overlooked our past and became friends! Anyhow, to make a long story short through our family ties we both found ourselves in Los Angeles and he took me through the Mar Vista projects and all over Culver City in general! I bet not to many Nortenos have experienced anything like that! #2 is East side Wilmas! They have music out showing them wearing Red rags as well.

Re: Red rag surenos
For the most part Surenos don't trip on colors. Most people don't wear too much red cuz it's such a loud color. There are plenty of people down south who are 49er fans and proudly represent same with the Angel fans.
As far as colors go I think Nortenos take that stuff way more serious.

Re: Red rag surenos
I would say that since there are no Norteno gangs down south, people don't trip on colors. Up North where you have both gangs both sides trip. If you see a chicano wearing blue or red it definitely means something up North! The dude that I know from CxC likes to sport Angels gear!femun wrote:For the most part Surenos don't trip on colors. Re: Red rag surenos
Yes ES Wilmas does sport red, goes back to the 'Chain Gang' days, PLUS the local high school in their barrio is named Banning Pilots whose colors are Red n Black. But they are SURENOS thru n thru.
Just like their historically number one enemy is Rancho San Pedro which sports gold n yellow the same color as their HS mascot, the Pirates. But they are SURENOS thru n thru as well.
But to call ESW 'red rag SURENOS' is misleading. More like SURENOS who sometimes sport red would be more appropriate.

Yup, the Orozco family used to own that store. I dated one of the sisters (Cindy) I'm very well aquainted with that neighborhood. Lol
