I can't understand any of it! The guy beatboxing in the first video wearing the shirt that says real gangster cracks me up though. You guys are definitely different!

Just wanted to show that despite all the rhetoric, western and american culture is influencing alot of people over there.
Hip Hop/Rap has become extremely popular in those countries.

I could see that it is having an impact on them. I bet back in their country it is probably looked down on though. In my eyes they are just trying to fit in.

It is looked down upon the same way it is in the west, mostly by conservative people, but keep in mind, these guys are all muslims too. Its the same conflict/political dividing line that we have in the west. Conservatives/right wingers versus progressives/leftists.
They dont look like terrorists to me with the dreadlocks and all that.

My turkish isnt that good, but i can tell that they are rapping about smoking weed etc.
It has become an important factor in youth culture over there.
Check these guys out, i have to admit they cracked me up, but thats right in the midst of hardcore shiite Iran in the early 90s...It doesnt get more fundamentalist then that country at that time.

I don't know where the videos are filmed? If they come from the middle east then wow! If they are rapping on street corners somewhere in Europe then I would say they are trying to fit in with western culture.
