The Feds, in Florence Colorado hold some of the major shot callers of the Mexican Mafia, but they have no freedom or access to the outside world. No letters, no kites, no phone calls, no communication, so with that all shut down, the one in Pelican Bay have more influence.

The California faction (50 made members) has no official figurehead and is older and more powerful with legions of southern California gang members at their disposal.

The Federal faction (70 made members) is run by a three man commission (like the AB) and has full authority over federal Eme members. There are many "carnals de palabra" in the feds: Aldoph "Champ" Reynoso, Jimmy "Rube" Soto, Raul "Huero Sherm" Leon, Raymond "Huero Shy" Shylock, etc.

It should be noted that the only murder in Florence ADX to date was at the hands of La Eme. Longtime Eme soldier Manuel "Tati" Torrez was beaten to death by Richard "Chuco" Santiago and Eme associate Silvestre Rivera. The execution is on film and is often misidentified in documentaries as an AB hit but in reality it was an Eme hit.

"The State vs the Feds" of course it's the State of California with the most influential Power because they have communication with the biggest disruptive group in CDCR, "THE SURENOS" Far as a "Figurehead" that's the way they keep it for many reasons currygoat. ADX Florence can get mail. I personally have written and sent money to Terrible Tom Silverstein. So alexalonso that is not true. They do have mail access.

Mundo and Boxer are drop outs! remember! majority of things they debriefed about are checked for validity=The quality of being logically or factually sound. far as numbers that is a guess from them both curry. I would say 80/20 on correctness. If you look at CDCR photos and listings its about 87!That number could be correct at the time they debriefed also.
