This is east of Crenshaw in the Bity area of BPS. 25th street goes through both hoods. In the 20s th 25 click is between Western (w) and Normandie (e). The Bity hood is between Crenshaw (w) and a bit past Arlington (e).

The old car was across from Johnny Pastrami is BPS hood, the Bity. There is also Easy Riders (ERS) there too.

Ok, I appreciate that! I went there when I was in Cali during the Christmas and New Year Holidays. I went to Johnny's and I was unable to get a parking spot in the lot. I had to park down the street across from Johnny's. I was somewhat surpised how much that area had changed. It seemed that it is now mostly Hispanic and the only Black people I saw was walking down Adams or down Crenshaw.

The car wash was removed from that corner. I heard they are going to develop a building there, maybe a condo, but the lot has been vacant for over a year, maybe 2.

On the history tip regarding this neighborhood... that empty lot on Adams & Montclair... Back in the 1968 this was a gas station and the location of a shootout between the LAPD and the Black Panther Party, resulting in three BPP captains killed. Coincidentally this was just before BPS was founded in this neighborhood. I believe the LA chapter of the Black Panthers had offices near Adams & Crenshaw. One of the Panthers killed in this shootout went to school with my dad at Mount Vernon Jr. High back in the 50's (now Johnnie Cochran Middle School) in Mid City, just north of this area.

The bps bity and jungle have always been a mystery to me like I know they hitup 5x but do they follow the 5?? And do the chi town stones accept them bps one of the few Cali hoods that ain't help a az hood going... I noticed in interviews t rarely say how they was Blackstone brims which kinda makes me feel he started them they instantly changrd
