Some men are born giants. Not a legend of bodybuilding but more of a myth. Craig Monson, his perilous journey through life has brought him to a place of friendly humility and encouragement. CT fletcher has talked about him, Craig was 20 years old with 22 inch arms and 240 pounds in 1971! Living in the hood and riding his bicycle to the gym in 71 with no money, no science, no supplements, just shit tons of work. In 1985 he's reported to have been bigger than any pro bodybuilder at at 310 pounds benching 585 during workouts. Currently at 62, he said he felt too small for pictures. So it sounds like he did do an interview. At 62, where is the pic? If he was 20 years old in 1971, that means born in 1951, so that would make him 65, right?

You can catch Craig Monson at 2:10 of this Gap Band video, "Gap Band: Party Train" 1983 video shot at Venice Beach. This is after his release from prison, so he is in great shape having been working out for the past 15 years.

CORRECTION: Craig started working out when he was 13, which as around 1963 so in the 1983 Gap Band video he has been working out for 20 years.

CORRECTION:Craig did not go to prison for killing the preacher. Two other people went to prison for that murder. He went to prison for killing a burgler in his house. And he did about 5-years in prison.

Nearly every OG Crip, Blood and Piru from the early 1970s are all on the record respecting Craig Monson's resume, period. I just did an interview with Donald Archie and he stated the same thing, Craig Monson was a major factor in the streets. Tookie was meeting him to work out, and Raymond Washington was always trying to be around Craig. So at this point, it shouldn't matter what his sexual orientation is. I can understand if you don't like that get down, but it aint no need to be disrespectful to the brother who is about to be 67 this year.
